studies in all these fields are also available. You have to keep in mind that theconcerned authority should recognize the universityor the college from which you are studying medicine.

There is one more thing to note here. Having a doctor’s degree does not make you
eligible to work. You also have to register with the relevant Medical Council. Only after
that you can practice or do a job. For example, after MBBS, it is necessary to register with the Medical Council and after BDS a registration is a must with the Dental Council.
Full form of MBBS

is Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
Entrance Exams
Now, we will give you the information on the entrance exam for admission in medicine.
Friends, for this you have to write NEET (UG) i.e. National Eligibility Entrance Test. This is

PCB stream. The age limit is 17 to 25 years. Relaxation of up to 3-5 years is given for
reserved category candidates. This is an offline exam that consists of 180 MCQ-type
questions. There are 45 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. 4
marks are awarded for the correct answer and there is provision for minus marking for
the wrong answer.
Please note that for MBBS and BDS, the NEET exam is a must. However, it may vary for the other degrees statewide. Like in Karnataka you don’t need to appear in NEET to doing BNYS. might not be enough.
However, you can start private practice or get a job after becoming a medical graduate in hospitals but the salary is lesser as compared to more qualified doctors and there is not much scope for further progress. Therefore, there is a lot of demand for post-graduation (MD or MS) after MBBS and similarly for the other degrees like MDS after studying dentistry. Hospital management is also very popular today. If we talk aboutother options, doctors are also appointed in pharma and biotechnology companies on managerial or even higher posts. You can go ahead for various government jobs like Medical Officer.
