Eligibility Criteria

To become Doctor there is a set of Eligibility Criteria to apply for the exam. To apply for the exam you must fulfill the following eligibility criteria as listed below.

Educational Qualification

Secondary School

To become a doctor you must of the subjects like physics chemistry and biology in your 11th and 12th class science stream. At least get an aggregate of 60% marks in the 12th class.

Graduation

To become a doctor you must complete the MBBS degree. The MBBS degree is of five and half years including a mandatory internship.

MBBS Full form

MBBS stands for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. You can achieve an MBBS degree from a private or an Autonomous Institue of Medicines. It is a 5 and half year course with the internship program.

Post Graduation Degree

After the MBBS degree, you need to specialize and take a post-graduation degree in medicine. You can become an MD (Doctor Of Medicine) or MS (Master in Surgery).

Age Limit

To apply for the MBBS in the General Category you should complete 17 years of age. The maximum age limit is up to 25 years.

How to fill NEET form

NEET Syllabus & Exam
