Due to the trepidation of the teachers using two different portals, Shala Darshan and Shala, the Government of Rajasthan merged both portals into a single portal and named Shala Darpan.

Each student is given a smartcard ID, and when the student comes to the class, they have to swipe it so that the daily attendance is updated and can be viewed live by parents and teachers.
